Rebates & Promotions

  • Natural gas is a convenient, dependable, economical and environmental choice for your home. When you choose to include natural gas in your home, there are a number of rebates and promotions available to you. To take immediate advantage of one of the rebates or promotions listed here, or to further inquire about natural gas service, contact SEAGD.

     

    Water Heating Rebates and Incentives

    If you are currently using an electric water heater, SEAGD will provide you with a tank-style water heater sized to meet the water heating needs of your home at no charge when you trade-in your old electric unit. If you are already a customer, SEAGD will also replace your old electric water heater at no charge when installed in the same location. If you are a new SEAGD customer, we will only charge $150 for your installation, and in many cases, we will waive the cost to run service from the street to your home. To qualify for SEAGD's Electric to Natural Gas water heater program, customers will trade-in the old electric unit for a new natural gas unit.

    If you have an existing natural gas water heater and it needs to be replaced, we will also provide a tank-style replacement at no charge. And, you may have a certified technician install your new water heater, or SEAGD will install it for only $100.

     

    Natural Gas Advantage Home Rebates for Heating Systems, Water Heaters and House Piping

    If you are building or remodeling a home, include natural gas in your plans. When you include natural gas for primary centralized space heating, water heating and in one additional appliance (stove, grill, dryer, lantern, logs, etc.), SEAGD will provide $500 for each primary natural gas heating system installed. You will also receive piping or piping allowances for your natural gas outlets free of charge. Your tank-style water heater will be provided and installed free of charge. You will receive up to 500 feet of service line to your home free of charge, as well. Your tank-style water heater will be provided and installed free of charge.

     

    Rebate Vouchers for Heating Systems, Pool Heaters, Dryers or Ranges

    If you would like to purchase a natural gas heating system, pool heater, range or dryer from another source, SEAGD will issue a rebate voucher to you prior to your purchase. After purchasing and installing your natural gas appliance, return the voucher, along with your proof of purchase, to SEAGD for a rebate of up to $200 per appliance.
